(For the English version, please scroll down.)
Cognitive Team
“Don’t Run Away from Freedom”
When a nation’s sense of self-efficacy is low,
society becomes this dependent on authority.
And honestly, left or right makes no difference—
they’re all cozy bedfellows in the end,
that’s exactly how it looks to me.
Emergency powers clauses, LGBTQ legislation—
at their core, they stem from the same human psychology.
Let’s stop outsourcing our lives to others.
When we worry about others’ eyes upon us,
we chip away at ourselves until our individuality dies.
Consider others as part of yourself,
then simply act as who you truly are.
Do that, and individuality will flourish organically,
and genuine community will emerge naturally.
Japan was supposed to be the land of eight million gods.
So where on earth have all the gods disappeared to?
Why did we stop
being gods ourselves?
I feel this comes down to something deeply spiritual,
and the structural reform needed to cultivate that spirituality—
that is exactly what Cognitive Team represents.
At least, that’s what I believe right now.
In the end, it’s all about “serious play.”
We don’t have time for pointless posturing anymore.
