Dandy Tonight。

『令和の虎』『令和の龍』でDan Mitchelを知ってくださった方へ。 9月22日は、ヴォーカリストとしてのDan Mitchelに会いに来てください。

今回の舞台は、麻布十番のシーシャバーPRISM。 Hodaka Kagetaのベース、Hiromu Kawakamiのキーボードとともに、 Chillなムードの音楽を生演奏でお届けします。

歌の表情、ベースの響き、鍵盤の音色。 3人の音がその場で重なり合う時間を、シーシャとレモンサワーとともに。音楽をじっくり聴きたい方にも、一杯を楽しみながらくつろぎたい方にも、気負わず過ごしていただけるライブです。

An evening with Dan Mitchel, the vocalist.

You may know Dan from his appearances on Reiwa no Tora and Reiwa no Ryu. On 22 September, come and hear him sing as Dandy Tonight returns after two years.

At PRISM Shisha Bar in Azabu-Juban, Dan is joined by Hodaka Kageta on bass and Hiromu Kawakami on keyboards for a night of mellow live music.

Enjoy the interplay of voice, bass and keys with shisha and a lemon sour. Come to listen closely, or simply settle in over a drink and let the live music be part of your evening.

Whether you have been to Dandy Tonight before or are discovering Dan for the first time, you are welcome to join us—on your own or with friends.

VS Dan Mitchel

Resonance does not mean becoming the same.

Presented by Dandy Asobi Club, VS Dan Mitchel brings Dan face-to-face with guests whose backgrounds, values and ways of thinking differ from his own. The aim is not to defeat an opponent or force agreement, but to explore what becomes possible through genuine dialogue.

Host and guest each bring topics they want to explore. These long-form conversations leave room to question, listen and go deeper, rather than reducing a person to a quick introduction.

The Background

A difficult reception was not the end of the story.

Dan’s Dandy Asobi Club proposal faced tough criticism on Reiwa no Tora. Rather than leave the idea at the pitch stage, he began creating spaces where people could actually engage with one another. VS Dan Mitchel is one of those projects.

He later appeared as the first applicant on Reiwa no Ryu, presenting a project to turn entrepreneurs’ life stories into short films. The original appearances and his subsequent livestreams offer different perspectives on these ongoing efforts.

Dan reunites with his high-school classmate Muso, a Soto Zen Buddhist priest. Over more than two hours, they explore emotion, attachment, artistic expression and what it means to be human.

The Vision

For everyone to be happy.

At the heart of Dan’s work is a wish for people to discover what they genuinely want to do and believe they can do it. He connects that aspiration with the cultivation of intellect, sensitivity and spirituality—and with what he calls “the evolution of humanity.”

Dandy Asobi Club is built around “Serious Play”: a shared endeavour involving performers, production staff, business teams and audiences. Dan calls this a “Cognitive Team”—a community whose members believe in their own and one another’s ability to contribute.

The vision is to create projects across all 47 prefectures of Japan and share them with the world through film. VS Dan Mitchel is one practical step toward that vision.
