01 / PERFORMANCE
メドレーから、FREEへ。
WHITNEY HOUSTONや尾崎豊、MICHAEL JACKSONをメドレー形式で ご披露させていただいた後、 私のオリジナル曲「FREE」を パフォーマンスさせていただきました。

DJを担当してくださったIku Nakanoさんは、 ぶっつけ本番だったにも関わらず、 ややこしいメドレー形式のトラックの継ぎ目も 完璧につないでくださって。
大変ありがたかったです。
02 / ONE VOICE, BILLIE JEAN
あの、ひとりアカペラも。
また、私の使い方を熟知しつつあるズッキーさんの指揮もあり、 ブレイキングダウンのオーディションで披露した、 全カットになったらしいという噂の ひとりアカペラ「Billie Jean」も 披露したりなどして、会場も大変盛り上がりました。
皆さん、とてもあたたかく迎えてくださって嬉しかったです。
また、当日のパフォーマンス動画ダイジェストは、 公開できればと思っています。

Dandy Tonightとは打って変わって、 楽器陣と飲みながらみんなで遊ぼうという、 ゆる〜い企画になってます。 でも、案外ゆる〜い時って、 クリエイティブなものが生まれたりもするんですよね。
もちろん、「本気の遊び」というテーマは、 貫いて行ければと思っております！！

01 / PERFORMANCE
From a medley to FREE.
After a medley featuring songs by Whitney Houston, Yutaka Ozaki, and Michael Jackson, I performed my original song, “FREE.”

Iku Nakano was our DJ for the event. Even though we went straight into the performance without a rehearsal together, he handled every transition in that rather complicated medley perfectly.
I was incredibly grateful.
02 / ONE VOICE, BILLIE JEAN
Yes, that solo a cappella, too.
With a little direction from Zukky—who is getting to know exactly how to put me to good use—I also performed my solo a cappella version of “Billie Jean.” That is the one I sang at the BreakingDown audition, which was apparently cut from the footage entirely… or so the rumor goes. The crowd really got into it!
I was so happy with the warm welcome everyone gave me.
I am also hoping to share a video digest of the day’s performances.

The after-party opened new doors.
A NEW POSSIBILITY…?
And could the after-party have led
to a new work opportunity?
An international presentation—as an actor?
I may be taking part in English!

After the party, Mr. Ozawa kindly let me stay at his home. And while I was there, something else was decided: Zukky will be joining me as a guest on “VS Dan Mitchel”!

Around the same time, my episode of “LAST CALL,” the show led by Yuji Mizoguchi that has been generating so much buzz, was released—with me appearing as a “difficult customer.”

Come to think of it, the idea of starting a podcast called “Dandy Asobi Club Radio” has been on hold. If every day keeps being this eventful, I certainly will not run out of things to talk about. Haha.

This weekend, I will be hosting Dandy Asobi Club Bar Vol.2.
In quite a change of pace from Dandy Tonight, this is a very laid-back get-together: having a drink with the musicians and just enjoying ourselves. But sometimes, those relaxed moments are exactly when something creative comes to life.
And of course, I intend to stay true to our theme of “Serious Play”!
