そうだな、ふと思い出した。
俺、ワークライフバランスが総崩れしてた人と前に付き合ってたわ。
見ててつらくなったけど、本人は責任感が強くて、とことんやっちゃうんだよな。
残業代は出てたけど、あれは完全に経営陣の怠惰だったから、そんな会社未来ないから早く辞めればいいのにと思ってた。
てかバランスなんて人によるものだから、制度で決めるべきじゃないのよ。どうやって線を引くの？働ける人は働けばいいじゃん。2割の働きアリで社会は成り立ってんだから。だいたいブラック企業は経営陣に問題があるわけだから、そんな会社さっさと辞めて潰せばいいんだよ。なぜ権利を行使しない？
ゼノフォビアだ排外主義だなんだという議論も最近よく聞くけど、俺は自分がどちらかと言えばグローバル寄りのスタンスで生きてきて色んな文化を見てきたからこそ、文化の違いがどれほど大きいかも知ってるし、それをいきなり今の免疫皆無な日本に放り込んだら、トラブル多発することは明らかでしょ。
そのトラブルが生じないようにきちんと整えて動くのが然るべき政治なんじゃないの？そんな反対されるのが鬱陶しいので、裏でやっときましたー的なやり方は政治ではないでしょうに。俺は外国人大好きだけど、現行の移民政策はあまりに杜撰な無策としか言いようがないと思うが。指導力ゼロかよ。
外国人がどうとかというよりは、政治とかメディアに対する不信感が本質でしかないと思うわけだよな。それに対して、外国人差別反対だの排外主義だのレッテルを貼り付けて批判するのは、「陰謀論」という便利な言葉を開発した人間と同じで、本質なんかどうでもいいから俺の正義に従えって態度だよ。
プロパガンディズムにはもう懲り懲りなんだよ。批判する前にまず相手の本質を理解しようとしないのは、自分が正しいと思い込んでいるからであって、それは哲人から最もかけ離れた行為である。だから言葉尻かっさらって、適当にラベル貼り付けて、虐める。議論に勝てさえすればいいから、そうする。
だがそれは誠実な議論ではないし、不毛だ。ましてそれこそ差別以外の何物でもない。仮説は皆、仮説であり、真理でないという意味では平等だ。俺は常々、まともな議論がしたいと考えている。純粋に本質を見たい人、確たる美意識を追求し、構築していきたい人はいないのか？
本質でないところで、あっち派とそっち派がケンカさせられてるようにしか見えないんだよな。それで得すんのは誰って話じゃん？表面だけ議論しても意味がないわけ。その奥にどんな問題が隠れてるのかを掘り起こした上で議論しないと、ただ、子供のケンカさせられてるだけだよ。
Yeah, now that I think about it—
I used to date someone whose work-life balance was completely wrecked.
It was hard to watch, honestly. She was super responsible, the type who’d push herself until she broke.
She got paid for overtime, sure, but the whole thing was just the management’s laziness. I remember thinking, “That company’s got no future. She should quit before it drags her down.”
But really, balance is personal. You can’t legislate it.
Where do you even draw the line? If someone wants to work more, let them. Society basically runs on that top 20 % who actually carry the load.
Start punishing those people, and Japan’s done for.
And look—so-called “black companies” aren’t born from bad labor laws; they’re born from bad leadership.
So just quit and let those companies die off.
Why don’t workers use the rights they already have?
Lately everyone’s yelling about xenophobia and exclusionism too, but come on—
I’ve lived a pretty global life, seen a lot of cultures firsthand.
That’s exactly why I know just how huge cultural gaps really are.
If you suddenly toss all that diversity into Japan, where people have zero social immunity to it, of course you’ll get friction and chaos.
It’s the government’s job to prepare the ground so that kind of trouble doesn’t happen.
Sneaking things through behind the scenes because “debate’s annoying”? That’s not politics.
I love foreigners, but Japan’s current immigration policy is just sloppy and directionless—total lack of leadership.
So yeah, the problem isn’t foreigners; it’s the deep mistrust toward politics and the media.
And when people start slapping labels like “anti-immigrant” or “xenophobe” on anyone who questions the system, it’s no different from those who invented the word “conspiracy theorist” just to silence discussion.
It’s basically saying, “Forget the truth—just obey my righteousness.”
I’m sick of propaganda.
If you don’t even try to understand your opponent’s essence before criticizing them, it’s because you’re trapped in your own belief that you’re right—and that’s about as far from philosophical thinking as you can get.
So people end up nitpicking, labeling, and bullying, just to “win” arguments.
But that’s not honest debate—it’s barren, and it’s discrimination in another form.
Every hypothesis deserves equal footing until proven true.
All I want is a sincere discussion.
Aren’t there any people left who genuinely want to see the essence of things, who want to pursue and build a true sense of beauty?
Right now it just looks like both “sides” are being made to fight over the surface of things.
Who benefits from that?
Arguing over appearances is meaningless unless you dig into the deeper issues underneath.
Otherwise, we’re just being manipulated into playground fights.
