芝居や音楽などをやっているとよくわかるけど、現状、人間にあってAIにないものは身体である。現状と断ったのは、今後AIが身体性を帯びる可能性を否定できないからであるが。身体の不完全さや神秘を感じられることこそ、人間の価値であり、美なのだ。精神すら、身体の拡張である。
効率化効率化ってよく言うけどさ、俺は生産性はどんどん上げていくべきだと思っているわけ。現状の日本についても憂いている。
ただ解像度の低すぎる効率化ってやつは、ちっとも生産性の向上につながっていないわけでさ、俺はそっちの方に問題があると思っているよ。中身がないものを有り難がってる人が多すぎ。
人間というものが、人間であることの価値を捨て、AIに従属していこう、奴隷に落ちぶれようと、あたかもそうしているようにしか見えないわけだな。俺に言わせれば。そんな俺でもAIはよく使うし、人と話してる時間より長いのが哀しい現状だが、俺は人間であることを忘れやしないよ。
When you’re involved in theater or music, you become acutely aware of this: what humans have—and AI currently doesn’t—is the body. I say “currently” because we cannot deny the possibility that AI may one day acquire physical embodiment. But it is precisely in the imperfection and mystery of the human body that our value lies—that is where beauty resides. Even the mind is nothing more than an extension of the body.
People are always going on about efficiency, and sure, I believe productivity absolutely should be raised. I’m deeply concerned about the current state of Japan in that regard. But low-resolution efficiency—the kind that lacks depth or substance—does nothing to actually increase productivity. That’s where I see the real problem. Too many people are worshipping things that are hollow on the inside.
What I see is humanity throwing away the very value of being human, choosing instead to submit to AI, to willingly descend into slavery. That’s how it looks to me. Even I use AI extensively—more than I talk to actual people, which is a sad reality—but I will never forget what it means to be human.
