Both of these new songs are collaborations, created through my company’s service, “Turn Your Life Drama into Music.” Each track was composed based on a client’s unique story.
“I Swear…” is a heartfelt love song from a mother to her first-born daughter. Although I’ve often written romantic themes before, hearing this mother honestly express, “She is my entire life now,” moved me deeply. It was a sentiment I might not have naturally captured on my own. I truly felt the greatness of a mother’s love, which brought a universal depth to this song that anyone can relate to. I’m thrilled it became such a profound expression of love.
“Come On!” is inspired by Mr. Yosei Kitsuyama, an incredibly young, dynamic entrepreneur who runs the personal gym Natur Gym. His relentless energy and passion took shape in this song, resulting in a macho sound I haven’t explored since “Open Your Eyes.”
In today’s world, where we all face moments of discouragement, I hope this track can bring listeners some extra motivation.

今回の2曲は両方とも、私の会社の、
「あなたの人生ドラマを曲にする」というサービスで、
依頼を受けて作った作品で、
言わば、コラボレーションです。
I swear…は、とあるお母さんの、初めて生まれた娘に贈るラブソングで、
これまでも結構ロマンティックなことを歌ってきたつもりではいましたが、
インタビューの時の「この子はもう私の人生の全てなんだ」という真っ直ぐな想いがすごくて、
こういう表現は、到底自分からは出て来なかっただろうなと言いますか、
やはり母は偉大なりと、心底思いましたし、
私が歌う上では、一般的なラブソングとしても、
すごく普遍的で、愛情の深い歌になったので、とても嬉しく思っています。
Come On!の方は、Natur Gymというパーソナルジムを経営する、
すごく若くて、信じられないくらいエネルギーに溢れた実業家の、
橘山陽正さんのイメージで、彼の想いとかを具現化してみると、
OPEN YOUR EYES以来の久々にマッチョな曲ができました。
現代社会においては、すっかり落ち込んでしまうこともきっとあるかと思いますが、
そんなときに聴いてもらえると嬉しいですね。

この曲は、娘が生まれてきてくれたことへの感謝、
ともに生きる喜びの気持ちがシンプルにつづられています。
そして子どもにはただ無事に成長してほしい、
とゆう願いが前向きなメロディーとDanの優しい歌声と共に込められています。

ジムのテーマソングを作って頂いて、ジムを作った経緯や特徴など改めて振り返った時に色んな想い出を思い出してそれを言葉にして相手に伝えてと良い機会だったなと。
初心に戻ったというか、始めた時の気持ちやお客さんと出会った経緯など振り返って懐かしかったり、もっと色んな方に知ってもらいたいなと。
今後も体は勿論、メンタルを整える場所として活動していけたらなと思いつつ曲も色んな人に伝えていけたらなと思います。
